Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?

Menhir's free plan is free forever - no trial period, no credit card needed. You get full access to the platform with up to 3 active departures and up to 5 bookings on each.

What counts as an active departure?

A departure that is currently Open, Confirmed, or In Progress. Completed and cancelled departures don't count.

What counts as a booking?

One booking is one paying party, however many people travel on it - so five bookings on a free-plan departure might be five solo travellers or five couples. Cancelled bookings don't count, and your own maximum capacity for a departure is yours to set: the plan never limits how many travellers you can carry. Pro removes the per-departure limit entirely.

Can I upgrade at any time?

Yes. You can move from Free to either Pro tier at any time, and you can switch between Pro Monthly and Pro Pay-as-you-go as your business changes.

What's the difference between Pro Monthly and Pro Pay-as-you-go?

Both Pro tiers include the same full Pro feature set. The only difference is pricing: Pro Pay-as-you-go is £0/month plus 3% of confirmed booking value, while Pro Monthly is £99/month plus 1.5%. Pro Monthly typically becomes better value above roughly 25 bookings per year (around £79k annual booking value).

Do my travellers need a Menhir account?

No. Travellers access their itineraries, documents and messages from you through a secure link you share with them. No account or app needed on their side, and messages they send you come straight back into the booking.

Is my data secure?

All data is hosted in the EU on ISO-27001-certified infrastructure. We're GDPR-compliant and never sell your data.
